Listing FAQ's

 

How do I setup and run a Listing?

 

You simply click the “New Listing Campaign” link in the Listings section of your control panel. You will then be walked through a few easy steps to create your campaign. You can have it start immediately or at a time in the future that you designate.

 

Where will my listings appear?

 

Your listings will show up on the pages they normally would based on your respective neighborhood and(or) cuisine, but will have a more prominent position depending on the type of campaign you run. Click here to see an example of our Listings Products.

 

How is my ranking / position on the page determined?

 

For Featured listings, your position is randomly determined whenever the page is requested by a user. This method allows all featured restaurants to have access to the top spot within your particular level of sponsorship, premium or enhanced.

 

Website listings, on the other hand, appear alphabetically.

 

How long will it take for my listing to appear?

 

You can setup and run your listing to appear immediately once your account is activated.

 

Can I manage listings for more than one restaurant?

 

Yes. Go to the Profile section of your Control Panel and click the Add Restaurant link to choose your restaurant. After we confirm your association with the restaurant, you can create a listing campaign immediately.

 

Can I edit my Tag Line or update my Website URL?

 

Yes. At any time you can edit your Tag Line or update your Website URL in the Listings section of your Control Panel. All changes will take effect immediately.

 

I already have a live website listing. Can I run a featured listing before the website listing campaign ends?

 

Yes, you can run a Featured Listing by clicking the “New Listing Campaign” link in your Control Panel. Don’t worry about losing any time that you’ve already paid for. Your website listing will basically “pause” until the end of the featured listing we will add that time to the end date of your website listing. In other words, if you run a 3-month featured campaign, you will have 3 months added to your website listing campaign so that you don’t any lose time that you’ve already paid for.

 

Can I upgrade from an Enhanced Featured Listing to a Premium Featured Listing?

 

We’re sorry, it is not possible to upgrade from an enhanced listing to a premium listing. But you can always register for a premium campaign and have it start immediately after your enhanced campaign expires.

 

Do I have to wait to until my current listing campaign expires to purchase a new campaign?

 

No, you can always sign up for a campaign. If it doesn’t start immediately, it will show up in your control panel as a “Future” Campaign.

 

How do I pay for a Listing?

 

One of the steps in the Listings setup process is to input your credit card information. Any information you submit is transmitted using a Verisign secure connection and we do not store your credit card information in our database. Your credit card will be charged by Slick City Media MenuPages.

Where can I find information about my credit card transactions?

 

You can find that information in the “Transactions” section of your Control Panel. Click the “Transactions” button at the top of the page.
