I had the Afghani salad, qabili palao with lamb, and a wonderful custard for desseet. Best meal I have had in ages. The guys were super kind and brought me some extra yogurt and carrot/raisin stuff for pilau when I asked. It's subtly and delicately spiced

Just Plain Criminal.
If I could give a negative star rating I would !! All their food is premade and likely heated by microwave. We were a party of 4 and ordered 4 different dishes to share. Too much salt, all the chicken was overcooked and dry, and

I agree.....this place is good! I don't venture out of my "box" too much and don't try too many ethnic food places but this place was really good! I agree w/ everyone else's recommendation to try the Kadu Buranee (sauteed pumpkin w/ yogurt + meat sauce)..

i agree with what was stated in the previous reviews. this is one of the best restaurants in DC. you get tons of food, great service, and it's not too pricey.
it's also super close to the woodley park metro.

Tucked upstairs in a row of rowhouses is one of THE best restaurants in the Adams-Morgan, actually entire DC area. The Afghan grill is a small intimate restaurant, yet is big on service and food. The portions are just right, especially if you build a me

This is my favorite Afghan restaurant in the district. It's hard to find (upstairs) but worth it - 1/2 block from Woodley Park/Zoo metro station. The food is great!
