Great food, great price
I went to Alero on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. I ate outside on the small desk over looking Connecticut Ave. Nothing special, but the atmosphere fit the neighborhood "feel". The waitstaff were prompt and polite, as you would expect. The food came very quickly. Everything was excellent. I normally don't like guacamole, but it was excellent. The salsa was outstanding. Alero's now is one of my favorite restaurants.
