Hope you don't have a train to catch
Decent food -- a little over priced, but the service is ALWAYS slow... if you've got a train to catch, eat at the bar.

Eh, not bad for a train station
As train station food goes, its decent enough. The food was average, though the french fries were top notch. The service was excellent, bordering on almost too good for the location. In any port of entry/departure the food venues are going to be a tad more expensive than what is sensible and America was no different. The atmosphere was 'ok,' it seemed not very cohesive and the walls may have been grey, which is never a good choice. A pretty average experience.

A Classy Spot in Union Station
Who would have thought that in Union Station a jewel like this one could exist. Situated on three floors, the surprisingly quiet and romantic restaurant seems more like a lover's hideaway than anything situated in the heart of a railroad station. The marbel columns, beautiful statues, etc. only add to the charm. And the food? In what must be the most extensive menu ever, there is what must be every food known in the Continental USA listed on the menu (along with the city where it originated). How many menus contain spaghetti and meatballs, macaroni and cheese, Maryland crab cakes, and Peanut Butter and Jelly and have them all available at all times? Great food and a fun, interesting place.
