Excellent value
A real find, a a reasonably priced neighborhood restaurant with delicious Persian food and warm and friendly service. The Chilean sea bass,which is getting harder to find these days, is recommended. Also is Persian rice is very tasty.

Fabulous takeout
We ordered on a whim and what a great surprise!! The outside of this restaurant looks iffy and I always just pass by. We ordered 3 dishes, all were great, but the lamb dish that translates to "dish of Gods" was amazing!! Even my 1 1/2 yr olds loved it! The people were also very nice in the phone!

Best Kabob in VA-MD-DC
I have tried almost very Iranian restuarant in the DC metro area and this is by far the best kabob I have every had with tender, juicy chicken kabob and delicious, flavorful beef kobideh. The rice is to die for and service is very friendly and helpful. As a hard to please Iranian, I would highly recommend this place. There are closer Persian restaurants to my house, but I go out of my way to dine at Amoos.

Anywhere but here-
Have eaten there twice (you have to give everyone a fair chance) both for lunch and dinner. While the proprietor is welcoming when you come in, the wait staff are minimally interested. We had one server tonight who came to the table reeking of cigarette smoke so badly that it was nauseating. Every dish tried has had only mediocre flavor and the meat tends to be dry- completely unacceptable, particularly with the prices they charge. We ordered two Sprites tonight and the waiter came over and put a CAN down in front of us (really guys?) with a glass. I guess we were supposed to share- what a disappointment and one that cost almost $80.00. I recommend you try almost anywhere but here- it is not a fluke, the place has real problems.

Don't miss it.
Small cosy place, great service, nice smiles, and the most important thing is their delicious Persian food, tandoori chicken was amazing and weigh better than Indian. For sure I will go there again and again.

Garbage!!
I use to eat here a lot back in the day. However it seems new ownership has taken over and you can certainly tell by the food. I ordered the koobideh and the inside was uncooked and by uncooked I mean bloody. I threw the carry out in the trash and will never go back to this place again! My wife had the chicken which was burnt and dry! save your money go somewhere else!

Mouth Watering Persian Food
Forget about going anywhere else and receiving clean, fresh, and amazing tasting food like Amoo's kabob. This place has the BEST koobideh in the DMV. The atmosphere is amazing and the quality of service is top notch. I will be dining here many more times. The staff is also worth the mention. Friendly faces and fast service Bring the whole family or dine in alone, you will NOT be disappointed. I guarantee it.
