I have been going to Armonds since I was 10 and now I am 40. It's not the type of place you go for fancy atmosphere. If you want the best Chicago style pizza go here and get the Classic deep dish. Don't think about carbs and just enjoy the experience. Great value, great service. I do admit that the restaurant could use some sprucing up, especially the bathroom, but if u can overlook the unfanciness then go an enjoy.

I ordered the chicken and broccoli pizza from there. There was no tomato sauce, and the pizza wasn't that good.

The restaurant was not clean, food on the floor everywhere, the seats covered in pizza sauce and crumbs, every thing on the table greasy. The waiter didn't greet us or make eye contact. The pizza was totally undercooked - the crust was so doughy we actually thought we were eating cheese at first, and then realized it was just goopy dough. The waiter hadn't returned to our table since dropping it off, so I found the manager, told him the food was unacceptable, the service was poor, and the table unclean. He said "what do you want me to do about it?" - meanwhile, the waiter had been listening in and then confronts me, demanding to know what I told the manager.

Armand's is the best Chicago Style Pizza in the Washington Area.I strongly recommend it.
