Chocolate City, "Big Chair," Ipa, Washington, Dc in a city known for its national monuments, the big chair is the district's own monument standing tall in anacostia. big chair ipa is chocolate city beer's monument to the east coast brewing tradition, a blend of five different hops balanced with rich malt sweetness.   
Atlas Brew Works, "Rowdy," Rye Pale Ale, Washington, Dc a hop-forward american-style rye ale. it pours a reddish hue out of the tap and its hoppiness is accented by the peppery notes of rye on the palate.   
Devils Backbone, Vienna Lager, Lexington, Virginia amber colored lager with a finish that has hints of caramel and toasted nuts. this beer is brewed with four different malts resulting in its smooth malty flavor.   
Port City, Porter, Alexandria, Virginia a robust porter that remains a flagship brew for port city. this beer shows bittersweet flavors of coffee and dark chocolate, with a very complex malt character enhanced by yeast fruitiness. it pours ink black with a rich brown lace in the head.
