Have to try
I was shopping in Silver Spring and wanted to try out some sushi. Have to say... good sushi. The waitress was very helpful and recommended Volcano Roll and Shrimp Tempura. The service is very good unlike the other Chinese restaurants where you're begging for a refill on your water. Wish they delivered considering its too cold to go out.

Lousy sushi and veggie meats
I've tried to like the sushi here many times. I'm always disappointed. Most chinese restaurants have lame sushi, but this is worse than most. The selection isn't very exciting and the sushi always feels a little warm to me - room temperature or slightly above. The vegetarian fake meat chinese dishes are beyond poor. I find them completely inedible, although my husband doesn't mind them (he doesn't admit they're good though).

Best Sushi in Silver Spring
Coming from NYC it's been refreshing to have good sushi again. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. Some don't speak the best English but they keep the drinks flowing.

Don''t bother with the sushi
I read a glowing review of this place as having the best sushi in Silver Spring -- well that would not be hard to accomplish given the dearth of any Japanese restaurants. The ~$20 sushi combination that I got was only a minor step above the kind that you get in those cheap all-you-can-eat korean buffets in the outer suburbs. Pieces were tiny, with extremely thin slices of fish that didn't have enough substance to them to provide any real flavor. After trying Asian Bistro, I have to conclude that there is still no good sushi in Silver Spring.
