My favorite place in DC
I could not love Birch & Barley more than I do. The food is both creative and accessible. They have items like the Bratburger; a burger made with bratwurst and beef, house made sauerkraut, and fries. You just can't find that elsewhere with this quality. Make sure you try their breads and desserts. Their pastry chef is genius. She makes desserts that are Little Debbie cakes, or Hostess cakes, just 1000% better. Really clever, and really delicious. Then, of course, is the best beer list in town, hands down. No one else competes with the quality of beers you can get at Birch & Barley/Churchkey. If you haven't been, you must try it.
