Good Food Good Prices!!
Living on the Hill for a year, - - just found this place. By far and away the best value for your money! Most dishes are $11-$15 bucks - - good portions...good wine. Mom and Pop feel in DC . Can go out to dinner with a date and not spend a arm and a leg. Small place, but cozy. Def the best deal in town!

Best value in dc
While staying in dc we found the bistro. It has an excellent menu with very fresh foods. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is nice and casual, but not the olive garden. Just right for visitors not accustomed to a lot of the stuffiness you find in other restaurants in the city. Very clean and best value we found in the city. Al Franken walked by while we were eating too. Which we thought was really cool.

Best find of our trip to DC
Found the Bistro after an hour and one half of web surfing. Was very much worth the time and the cold 20 min walk on an extremely windy night. Have already recommended it to others at our hotel, and will put it first on our list for when we come back. Wish we lived closer :).

Good overall
I live in the neighborhood and have many years of experience with Bistro Italiano. I and the rest of my family like it, dine in or carry out. Service is polite but can be slow; I think they need another server at peak times. Get there early before the small dining room fills up.

Simply Delish!
Bistro is by far the best Italian food in DC. The menu is extensive and the prices are perfect. The service is friendly and the space is comforting. I would tell anyone to go there - and I do about once a week!

Are you kidding me!
I have tried this place many times and was only able to eat there once. The food was average at best, but my date did enjoy her dish. I would try to eat there and there would be dinners just receiving their apps and I was told they are closed. I recently tried to get a delivery and had my order taken and then told my address. Upon telling the employee my address I was told they don't go to North West. The funny thing is that we are only four short blocks from their establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone for the reasons above. It seems this business is too good for a lot of people. How can this restaurant remain when they are able to turn away so many customers.

Great Food, Fast, Friendly Delivery
I've mostly had delivery from this neighborhood restaurant. Each time the food has been hot and the delivery people are extremely friendly. I've never had a bad meal and the pizza is the best in DC by far. I've never gone back to my old pizza place once I tried Bistro, they're that good.
