One of the Best Bars in DC
The Black Rooster is a fantastic place where great people get together to enjoy good drinks, food, and lovely service. The Rooster has an impressive [select]ion of beers on tap and the food is very good. The ribs and the burgers are absolutely unbeatable. It is a popular lunch destination for those working downtown. They also serve food at night, until about 9:30pm. It's a place where you can enjoy yourself with friends and strangers alike, play a game of darts, or simply appreciate the stained glass, the copper bar, the carved wood panels, and the comfortable pub atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to wind down and relax with a few drinks in the downtown DC area, definitely go to the Rooster. Grab a stool at the bar and ask one of the friendly bartenders for a pint. You will feel right at home.
