Great neighborhood spot
I've been to The Black Squirrel twice now, and I'm left very pleased both times. The vibe of the place is warm and friendly, which isn't always the case in Adams Morgan. The most impressive thing going at this place is the extensive beer menu. They've got loads of Belgium beers on tap, and 60 or so beers by the bottle. The food isn't too shabby either, although, I can't say I've had everything. I did try the mussels, and they were great. My friends have been happy to the food, too. Overall, I think this place is just what Adams Morgan needed. Something for the neighborhood.
