Delicious farm fresh food!
If I could eat every single meal at Blue Duck Tavern every single day... I would! I also think that the menu is sensibly priced for such fine, farm fresh, organic ingredients. Pay for good food! Respect the earth! I applaud this restaurant's concept. Along these lines, having the kitchen right out in the open is impressive - Blue Duck proves they know what they are doing and will serve you only the finest, freshest food. The wood chairs, though in keeping w/ the country-style decor, at not comfortable. Fish there is wonderful!

We stumbled upon this place and even though we just ate in the bar our dining experience was wonderful.

too good for you?
Its obviously difficult to give special meaning to traditional food. High concept and the high quality should and can be enjoyable but not here. The service was self important and curt. Special company stopped me from making a fuss. Plain food, plainly prepared and poorly delivered in wasted, pleasant surroundings.
