    professional

Loved the atmosphere. We were served by at least 3 different people who were kind, helpful, w/o being intrusive, and very professional. A tough balance buy they each did it with elegant grace. The food is always outstanding and the presentation, superb.

    Excellent

The food was excellent! Very tasty, well spiced but not spicy hot, and the portions were good. Even the music in the background was just right for the mood and not too loud. Service was excellent, too. I will return.

    Not recommended

We were a party of 10. Family reunion. We ordered pretty much every thing and it tasted yucky. Here is how:- 1. Masala dosa - had almost half pound potato filled into it. Masala was half cooked and tasteless. No onions no garlic and no spice 2. Sambar was sweet like dessert. Brought cold to the table and no one ever came to ask for a refill. 3. Matar paneer was sweet like kheer. 4. Pindi chana .... Supposed to be a pakistani spicy cheak peas witg black semi solid sauce. But it was like ordinary chick peas that are available for $2 as packaged food in indian grocery store. 5. Tandoori - they dont come sizzling on hot iron plate like they should be. Plus half of the plate was filled with half cooked vegetables. Coming on to service. While we were having food no one ever came to ask if everything was fine or tasted ok. I ordered cheese masala dosa. My dosa had no cheese so i asked waitress abt it. So she took it back. Few minutes later another waiter came with same dosa... Put it in front of me and said enjoy ur food sir. He didn"t even bother to explain about what went wrong. It was a disappointing experience and we spend around 200 bucks for this poor experience. Also on a friday night this place was deserted. There were just one more table. Yet service sucked and food was brought cold to our table.

    Has seen better days

Maybe they just threw in the towel here after Minerva opened within walking distance! Ventilation must be broken or something because you step out of there smelling way too oily and spicy. More oil than spice used overall in the food. A waste of a good lunch hour. If you want a typical buffet, you are better off at Minerva - cleaner, better staffed, better taste, same price.
