I've been repeatedly told that the other Booeymonger locations are superior to this Bethesda one, but I've only eaten at this one, so far. What I can say is, there are less appealing places to get lunch, especially if the daily special being offered sounds appealing. (The specials seem to be the best value for the dollar.) On the other hand, I think most of this deli's customers are a captive audience -- people working in the office building next door or nearby. When it's cold or raining, sometimes it's just easier to walk to Booeymonger than most of the competition. On the downside, in the summer months, they can be a bit slow with your order. I like how they have additional seating upstairs, but it would be nice if they had a second soda fountain on the upper level. Most of the hot sandwiches I've tried from their menu board were good to great, but you get nickel and dimed on the sides you order with them, making it more expensive than you first expect.
