My first thought when we arrived in the Tasting Room was "this is not going to be fun". That quickly changed when we finally were awarded a cozy booth by the front windows. Our waiter James was as charming as the space. He quickly arrived as soon as we were seated and gave us a extremely knowledgeable tour of the menu. His recommendation of the Pork Belly Tart and the Chorizo & Fennel Mussels were right on point. The flavors were wonderful and blended well together. The Chef seems to have done his homework! We don't normally drink Virginia wines, but James suggested the Whitehall Petit Verdot to go with our meal and he couldn't have made a better pairing. Whoever chose the wines knows what they're doing. We will definitely return for more. The space is cramped, but the food and especially the service makes it well worth it.
