Excellent in every way possible!
I celebrated Mother's day today and it could not have been any more perfect. As soon as we came in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. Our waiter was pleasant and very helpful with the menu.I noticed that staff members were very attentive and friendly !The manager : Moataz was extremely professional and pleasant. He does a great job managing his team. The food was excellent and there decor is beautiful. Thank you for providing my mother with a memorable Mother's day!

Don't Waste Your Time or Money
We experienced high priced poor quality food at an inconvenient location. The drinks are served in small glasses also at high prices. We did like the desserts.

Wow not good!
Last evening four of us arrived here with reservations and while things seemed to start out all right albiet some confusion in ordering beer the night went down hill from there. Food took forever! Our table watched as others came in and left before we had even gotten appetizers. A full 2 hours later the courses came and eat least two had mistakes. While there were apologies there was nothing taken off our bill except the offer of desert. Which to be honest we all really didn't want since we had no been there from start to finish for 4 hours. Sorry but overrated and totally disappointing. Go if you have a full day to waste!

Excellent Mussels
The decor is hip and beautiful. The waiter was very nice but we were the only table in our area that did not get any bread. Both of our mussel orders were delicious; so were the fries. My husband said the Belgian beer selection was excellent. My glass of Riesling cost $13 (I should have asked the cost instead of just ordering it). When the bar is crowded it is difficult to get to the bathroom.

DC Visit
I have dined here multiple times throughout a three week period including different nights of the week. I found that the food was exceptional as well as the beer choices on draught. The rabbit is to die for as well as the au gratin potatoes with pork belly (together approximately $25). However, the service leaves something to be desired. On each visit, my party (group of 5) discussed our previous service experience hoping for something more within line of our expectations of any restaurant and found them to be lacking each time. The price is reasonable given the type of food served and is quite the value for the money. However, the price of the beer will significantly add to the overall price at approximately $8 per beer which is served true to the belgium way of small quantities. I highly reccomend this dining experience to anyone living or visiting the DC area.
