While we were seated promptly, the experience went downhill from there. Our server was apathetic (or should that be just pathetic). The drinks did not come until after the appetizer was cold. The food quality rated right up there with fast-food on a bad day, except I spent $93 instead of a fraction of that for two cocktails, 1 appetizer, and 3 entrees. The best part of the whole experience was walking out the door.

I came to Cabana's Friday night for my going away party on a whim with 7 friends. We were ready to get our drink & eat on and spend some loot but our server took forever to take our order, longer to bring our drinks and we had to beg for another round. He took just as long to take our order and never came back to check on us for things we might need. We were essentially sipping on ice cubes our entire visit. Our waiter (or the restaurant) automatically included an 18% gratuity which was so not earned. When my boyfriend asked to speak to a manager about the lack of service, we watched him come out, get pointed to our table by the hostess & then turn back inside never to come by! Outrageous... never again.

After being told there was a 15 minute wait, my party of 2 waited 45 minutes before finally asking the hostess about our table. They obviously forgot about us, bc we were seated right then. We had to ask for chips/salsa, our appetizer came out w/our main course and on top of that the waitress charged us for another table's meal. Since it was only a dollar more, she asked that we just pay that bill - I guess she didn't want to be inconvenienced. My advice - don't bother!

We heard about Cabanas from a friend; and we could not have been more delighted! Our server was efficient and friendly; but the food was sizzling! Great Place in a Great Location! We'll be going back...

A group of nine of us were told we had to wait at the bar because they could not put three tables together in that portion of the patio outside. Forty-five minutes later we finally get to sit down, wait another 30 minutes to get our order taken. What cooks puts nacho cheese sauce on top of an enchilada and calls it cheese? Our waiter finally brings the bill, we tell what amounts to put on each card and he proceeds to put 18% on each total rather than come tell us he failed to put the mandatory gratuity on our bill. Mind you, we had already calculated a 20% tip - if he had actually totalled the amounts it would have been apparent. Incompetent waiter, slow service, lousy food.
