Best Tex Mex in Town
Cactus Cantina is not the best tex mex food I've ever had, but it certainly is the best tex mex spot in town, especially compared to it's closest competitors. Cactus is a clean, well run, neighborhood establishment that is a flat out good time. Its staff is über friendly and the food is great. It is suitable for both families and young professionals alike. The restaurant irrefutably has the best chips and salsa in town. I love the place and eat there frequently.

Don't go. Defrosted Vegetables and Cheese. That's all I have to see.

Very Passable
As far as Mexican food goes, this place is inoffensive. I would go back because it was close to home and wasn't bad. That said, I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this place. Lots and lots of kids here, so not a great romantic date spot!

Good no more
I used to eat here 3x/ week. It's in my neighborhood and the food was always good. I don't know what has happened. The fajitas now have no seasoning. The margaritas are strictly from a mix and I saw the biggest cockroach I have ever seen on the wall next to my table the last time I ate there. I told the manager he shrugged his shoulders. I really wish the owner and management would turn their sinking ship around. It makes me sad.

I love their grilled chicken!
This place has huge portions, lots of options and really great grilled chicken. The atmosphere is your typical mexican restaurant and there are a lot of kids around, but it's a pretty good value for the area.
