    Great Food!

Having been to Turkey many times, I have a soft spot for the cuisine. I have to say, this place is super tasty and a favorite of mine.

    What a find!

The "spreads" are a must! While the white bean hummus is an all-time favorite, my fiancee and I have tried nearly every spread, and we have never been disappointed. The salads are huge and delicious, while the Turkish Style Pizza is always tasty and filling!

    We Gave It A Chance

Well..... we gave it a chance. Having lived in the 8th Street neighborhood for several years my husband and I have been waiting for a few new restaurants to pop up. We stopped into Cafe 8 with great expectations. The food was ridiculously simple at an outrageous price. The manager, who stopped by the bar several times asking about the service and the wine, was annoying to say the least. To be honest, the one person who saved the experience for us was the conversationalist bartender. Without him, we would have walked out on the check.
