eh?
The server was inattentive, we ate outside and there were several smokers which affected my enjoyment of my meal. The waitress was very slow and sat us at a rocky table. Our beer spilled all over the table and her response was "well, there are supposed to be coasters to hold up the table leg"?? What - this was an $80 meal - you'd think she would have minally given us a refill on the beer that was spilled - instead, she seemed angry that we moved to the next table. This restaurant was not worth an $80 meal - there are five others on the same block I would go to before I ever returned to Cafe Berlin.

Great Service
The service was very good and attentive. I felt the menu was limited, as it had too many beef dishes on it. One of the chicken entrees was Cordon Bleu, not a German dish. The dessert selection was very good and prepared well. My selection and a personal favorite was a poppyseed torte. The prices were good for some items, and a bit high for the specials. The atmosphere was pleasant.
