White tablecloths at a great price
Salad, well-cooked entrees, vegetables, potatoes, and bread - with table service from experienced waiters and cloth napkins for less than $20 a plate. Wine available for $5-6 a glass. Best value in McLean, with friendly and prompt service in pleasant kitschy surroundings. The kitchen is not adventuresome, and the menu doesn't change much, but it's reliable and the food is always tasty and comforting. I like the half-duck a l'orange, but the fresh sauteed trout is always good, as are the breaded pork cutlets with the nicely fried egg on top in an anchovy-flavored sauce.

A great family restaurant
Cafe Tatti is a restaurant we go to when we need to celebrate a birthday or entertain friends, because it is always reliable. The atmosphere is very friendly and so is the setting. The food is excellent. We highly recommend it.
