My boyfriend and I love this place! It is rare in this city to find great food that is affordable! Even though we now live all the way on the other side of town,we still make an effort to come to Eastern Market just for this place. The atmosphere isnt anything special, but if you are looking for a quiet restaurant where you can have good conversation and great food this is where you need to go.

Wow. The other day I made an impulse delivery order from this place hoping it would be good enough to please some friends I had over. Since there are so few quality Indian restaurants that deliver, I wasn't expecting much, but oh my goodness was I wrong. We all thought the food was spectacular. The delivery took about fifteen minutes longer than they said it would, which was annoying, so order earlier than you think you'd want food. They have a wide variety of dishes that I rarely see in other Indian restaurants, and the spicing on even ordinary dishes was out of this world. I particularly appreciated the fact that their vegetables and chicken weren't overcooked. I recommend the mutter paneer and the mixed vegetable in particular, however, the chicken tikka makhani was a little too smoky for my taste.

I love indian food! This is the best food I've had in a long time! Often, if you order Indian, the food all kind of tastes the same; it's difficult to discern one dish from another. With this restaurant, each dish was unique, and tasted of high quality ingredients. If you enjoy eating, definately try this restaurant!

No idea what atmosphere is like, but delivery was prompt even though technically they shouldn't have delivered to where I live (thus 4 starts for service). On the other hand, the food was bland and their 'medium spicy' is more like super-mild (and I don't even like spicy food!). Even though they're the only Indian place delivering in my area, and I love Indian food, I doubt I am ever ordering from them again because it was such a disappointment. In case you're wondering, I order a pretty standard veggie dish (malai kofta), yet they managed to make it badly.

Food was nice, but the portions were ridiculous. The appetizer was not worth the money, and the portion of rice was about half what I expected. Even the entree was a little small. My favorite part of Indian food is sopping up the sauce with naan, but, although the amount of meat was adequate, there was very little sauce in my entree. For my money, I'll try another place next time.
