Carolina is good home cookin
Very good food. I used to frequent the old Carolina Kitchen in the heart of Silver Spring on colesville road not far from the Metro. This new location adds ambiance with a great touch of flair of Nawlins'. Great choices from the buffet from spicey Jerk Chicken to my wifes favorite Smothered Chicken. I always get the cat fish nuggets as they prepare them fresh so you may have a wait for that. But then they also have a great menu for foods not on the buffet. I was going to the WOW wingery next door and they didnt even notice me standing there. Im so glad I made the smarter choice and leave and headed over to Carolina Kitchen which serves you wonderful.

Unwind, Relax & Eat
Excellent restaurant to unwind, relax and enjoy good homecooked food. The atmosphere has ambiance. The bar is a great place to meet friends and enjoy great conversation. The location has a variety of other stores/restaurants or you can let your food settle while sitting at the fountain located right outside the restaurant. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Wednesday night jazz is an added plus. I will definately return for the food and atmosphere...
