Not bad. Can help if you are short of money and miss A LOT this kind of food
Average food. Place was not very nice and a little depressing. The service was not good: it took time for our food to come, and the man who cleaned the table was not very polite. Would recommended it only if you are very hungry, love latin american food, and have little money to spend.

Is this what passes for good Mexican/Peruvian food in D.C.?
The basic spanish rice how can you mess this up? Rice was cold no seasoning, Slow wait staff, burritos, I have tasted better ones frozen from the convinience store. Don't waste your time or money for this lunch experience. I can appreciate a cold Tecate which was hot but not warm over beans & rice.

Very bland
This place is inexpensive, but it's nothing special. Got the pollo a la brazza (Peruvian rotisserie chicken), and it is nothing compared to the cheaper pollo restaurants all around DC/Arlington. Mine was dry and bland- none of the spices/seasonings I was expecting. My lunch mates got enchiladas and fajitas, which both came with bland, pale vegetable fillings. Not worth eating out- I could make a much better meal in half the time.

What a great little find
This place absolutely honors the old saying about little holes in the wall. The food was flavorful with complex tastes. I had the steak topped with onions, peppers and eggs (get the green chimicurro sauce on the side also). My friend had the three enchalatas. They were both excellent. Low prices, great food. We will be back again and again.

Great Find
This place is an unknown gem. Authentic , great food at great prices. Absolutely not the place to go for atmosphere as it has none. But they have fabulous Peruvian and Mexican food. My only complaint is the location - the heart of downtown DC yet not near anything. But I won't let that stop me when I crave the stewed Mexican chicken platter. I have not found another place that makes this dish. Check it out!

great food
the meats are great not like taco bell. Casa blancas food beats taco bell anyday and is one of the best rest in the city
