Good but not great
Well....my girlfriend used to live in Austin, and there are not many good Mexican places to quench her cravings. Casa Oaxaca isn't a typical Mexican place. It's more upscale and features Oaxacan cooking, which is a far cry from Tex-Mex. I thought most of the dishes we tried here were very good, but nothing made us drop our jaws with enjoyment. The chicken mole was tasty (three types of mole!), but the chicken was far too dry. I'd go again, but this place didn't really live up to Mexican food I've eaten in Mexico or Texas.
