After a recent trip to Spain I was on a search for "churros con chocolate". Anyone who has been to Spain and had churros con chocolate knows why I was searching. I was so excited to find them on the menu at Churreria Madrid. I called ahead to be sure that they indeed had churros con chocolate. Tonight was a major disappointment after anticipating this treat all day long. The churros were excellent....but the chocolate was terrible. It was not the thick, creamy and dark chocolate of Spain. It was watery and tasteless. In Spain, when you dip the wonderful churros in the chocolate it comes out covered in hot chocolate to die for. The restaurant was just what I was looking for, the service was good and the food was also worth a second visit. Except I won't be going back...the chocolate was too disappointing. I will continue my search.

This place will blow your mind. Its quiet and the food could not possibly get better.
