Pizza has the same soft, fresh, slightly-undercooked crust that the other national chains use. Arguably it's even better at Cici's since your eating it 30 seconds after it comes out of the oven, not 30 minutes. The desserts in particular are better than they look simply because they are far fresher than anything you can get from a bakery. I also liked that the pizzas had minimal sauce and that you could get extra on the side if desired. On the night I went it was very busy and they temporarily ran out of knives and some items at the salad bar got quite low. But to my surprise they managed to keep a good mix of pizzas available which is obviously far more important. Two criticisms. First, our seat cushions were badly torn. Second, I suppose there's nothing wrong with bits of spiced ground meat. But when did it become acceptable to pass that off as "sausage"? Cici's and all you other national pizza chains: if you can afford slices of real pepperoni you can afford slices of Real Italian Sausage!
