Clare and Don's Beach Shack is a GREAT addition to Falls Church. Great Food. Live music outdoor patio. We had a blast. The coldest beer. (on ice for hours the bartender said). We will be back

This place is a fantastic place for everybody. I love that the menu caters to all types of appetites. The food is always delicious and you can really tell that everything is homemade. Kids of all ages seem to always have a good time. You can tell that the owners really want everyone to have a great time.

I've given this "shack" a try twice in about as many months. The first time I waited forty-five minutes for a table only to be told we could not be seated in the available table after all, as the fourth member of our party had not yet arrived. Restaurant policy, I was told. Last night the fish was dry and over cooked, as were the hamburgers. And the Pino Grigio was served room temperature until we complained and asked for some chilled. The service staff was again extremely rude a waitstaff person actually tapped me on the shoulder several times instead of merely saying excuse me when she wanted to get past me. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting to have a decent meal.

The food is OK, but the service is not good. The two times I've eaten here the servers seemed as if they were doing me a favor more bored than enthusiastic. In an area where there are lots of good restaurants, having a mediocre serving staff is not a good idea. The food is pretty good but nothing special.

The food is tasty and the service is great. Atmosphere is unique and great for families.

Went there for dinner and was not impressed. Our waitress seemed disinterested in serving us and when we finally got our order the food was just ok. It was the weekend and an obnoxious and seemingly underage crowd started to fill the main bar as we were leaving. I'll pass on this place going forward.

Clare and Don's is totally fun. The food is great and reasonably priced. I especially love the crab cakes! Surf's up!
