Despite its theme, you can get a fairly regular dinner of small plates here. They have four groupings, each with 3 choices. We had two of the mac & cheese, two of the crab cakes, and two others. s They are comparable in size and price to tapas-type plates at most places in town - three plates each plus a 5-course desert tasting was a good dinner, without feeling like over-the-top sweet indulgence. That plus one cocktail, a premium large beer and one glass of wine added up to $122 for two people - not cheap but completely comparable to local places with similar and even less quality. The food was very good to excellent, preparations were more complex than average tapas and clearly given individual attention, nothing was overcooked. There is less choice than at most places, but for food quality and dining experience, I would rate it better value than Central and Jaleo, and comparable to Zaytinya, Rasika, Ceiba and Cafe Atlantico. But it is the specialty drinks and desert that make this place unique.
