    Consistently good

One of our favorite restaurants. The food is pretty good, service is excellent, friendly staff. It has gotten a bit pricey lately, but there are still bargains to be had. The location is great and they have FREE PARKING in a location where there is NO parking. Half-price burgers all day Monday, half-price wings all day Tuesday, half-price draft beer on Thursday, half-price appetizers 4-7, Mon-Fri. A plate of appetizers is a meal by itself, it just has no side dishes. $3.75 for 25-30 fried popcorn shrimp is a STEAL. You couldn't buy the shrimp for that. Skip any BBQ item on the menu, this is not a BBQ place and they have no idea how to make it. Good brunch on Sunday, but only order the eggs Benedict from the kitchen. On the buffet the Hollandaise is ice cold and it's served on a rusk, usually cold, rather than an English muffin. Wait staff will bring it to you from the kitchen but let you enjoy the rest of the buffet for no extra charge. Make sure to specify "runny" on the poached eggs unless you like eggs Benedict with hard boiled eggs. A few months ago they stopped buying cocktail napkins, so go get yourself a dozen regular napkins from one of the numerous waitress stations, unless you want water dripping all over you from every glass on your table. You have to ask for a glass of water. They have great condiments but you have to ask for them. You can almost always substitute side orders (except for onion rings), so do so unless you really like a ton of french fries—swap off for fruit or Cole slaw with your dining companion; they will gladly provide extra small plates.
