The Mojitos at Cubano were spectucular, they are above and beyond Carnival's Mojito, which was listed as Chicago's best! The food here is amazing and I can't wait to go back. Wishing there was a Cubano in the Chicagoland area. The staff had us all feeling like we were the only patrons there, even though the restaurant was full early on a Thursday. Very attentive, but not intrusive. Thank you, Cubano!

Cubanos is one of my all-time favorite restuarants in the DC area, and I've been to many of the area "hot spots". My first time trying Cuban food was here several years ago. The must-try plantain soup and pork dishes are authentic, traditional, and flavorful. Great mojitos too! My hubby and I also had our first date at Cubanos, so it also holds a very special place in my heart.

Original mojitos will start your feast in this colorfull, cozy, full of beautiful Cuban paintings hanging on the walls corner in Silver Spring. White table cloth tables will witness the suculent generous portions of beef, chicken, pork and fish that are served acompanied by tropical Caribbean side dishes. Paella for two will allow you for seconds at home. I highly recomend trying this lost jewel of Silver Spring. Convenient public parking is half block from the main entrance and must sit at the terrace when the weather is pleasant. They use olive oil for most of their offerings and have also vegetarian dishes and the best espresso "cafe" to finish your meal.

The food and drinks are great. I went there two Fridays ago and I was impressed. The food was so fresh and tasteful. The mojito's are the best. The rum cake is so good it will get you tipsy. I had the snapper baked in banana leaf. It was so tasteful I was still enjoying the taste after I left. This is truly a place to go to get the best cuban food.
