Good sushi, convenient location
This place was pretty awesome. I went on a busy Saturday night and got seated right away at the sushi bar. The place was packed, but the manager was more than apologetic about my wait for food. I was in no big hurry, and got to try many different types of sushi. I'm not delusional, and so I expect to wait a little longer for food on a busy Saturday night, and it was well worth it. Towards the end of my stay service picked up rapidly, and the sushi chefs were so friendly. I plan on going back often since the food was excellent. They also have a top quality drink menu and a friendly staff.

Decent Food, Poor Service
I went to Current for dinner with a friend and we were seated immediately by the friendly hostess which was the only pleasurable experience of the evening. After about 15 minutes of sitting by ourselves, the hostess finally came over and took our order. An hour later I had to walk up to the bar and ask for our drinks, water, and a waiter. Eventually we got our food which was decent nothing special but good sushi. I think we saw a waiter a total of 3 times during the night and had to walk up to the bar to get service and pay our check. Overall average food and poor service. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to sit at the bar for dinner.

Authentic yet well dressed
Stumble into this sushi bar not being able to know left and right in DC, and I'm pretty picky about sushi since my uncle is a sushi chef in Japan. Thinking this place is another well dressed Americanized half Japanese place and was taken pleasantly surprised. The chefs were very knowledgeable of sushi, (well, they were Japanese after all) even served eel with sansho pepper powder which is very classic in Japanese but even in NY's most notable sushi bar, you don't see then dare to be that Japanese! Kushiyaki were perfectly seasoned and very yammy, and I was surprised by the care they put in making the rolls. Be sure to sit by the sushi bar, the chef will take your order and they will make sure you are happy, and also try their sushi in Japanese style and ask to put wasabi inside the sushi! After all, that's how WE eat them!

Dragonfly
This place is nice if you're looking for a kinda low budget trendy atmosphere. They have animae and old kung-fu flicks projecting on the walls, and kinda tecno/euro music playing in the backround. The food is better than average but on the pricy side.
