Dave & Chung's

I just tried them for the first time. Do NOT order any roll that has "crunchy" in the title. Their idea of crunchy, rather than putting tempura crumbs atop, is to instead put UNCOOKED RICE in the middle with their spicy tuna. We also tried their egg rolls which were so difficult to bite into that the shell cut the roof of my mouth. Their sushi rolls are also tiny and not worth what you pay. I don 't know about the rest of their Chinese food, but the sushi was atrocious.

My family and I stumbled upon Dave and Chung's a couple of years ago and they have become our go to Chinese restaurant mainly for delivery. We are used to NYC Chinese food so the bar we set is pretty high. The food is up there among the best in the area. The only restaurant that compares is Peking Gourmet but the prices there aren't anywhere near as reasonable as Dave and Chung's. Delivery is always fast and they ALWAYS get the order correct, something many delivery restaurants can't seem to master nowadays. We have eaten at their in-store buffet a few times and that has always been a positive experience. As stated in other reviews there isn't much of a restaurant atmosphere when you go in to sit down. You just kind of seat yourself and start at the buffet or prepare to wait until the delivery orders stop coming in to be served a menu. You can tell the main focus of the restaurant is delivery but the staff is always nice. If they invested some money into purchasing or renting a larger location with a better atmosphere and more staff I think they could easily make a lot more money as a sit down restaurant destination. I'd recommend the Kung Pao Chicken, the Beef and Broccoli, and the Pork Lo Mein as our favorites. All in all we highly recommend the place for consistent food quality, fast delivery, and good service.

The food from Dave and Chungs is always good, the delivery is fast, and it's not too expensive. I highly recommend delivery, but going into the restaurant is always kind of weird. Like they're surprised to see you standing there and don't really know what to do with you! But once they figure it out they're always sweet, and as I said, the food is always good. I've ordered the Hunan Chicken, Singapore Noodles, and several of the appetizers.

Love their "diet" plates (steamed chicken or shrimp, lots of veggies, brown rice with a nice brown sauce on the side). Portions are generous (one serving makes two meals for me). I drop in here often when doing errands in the neighborhood. Unpretentious, good quality.

Myy husband and I eat here about every other week and the food is always really good. We've tried other Chinese places but they have always been hit or miss. Dave and Chung's is a hit each time.

Best in town. My wife and I try to eat there each Monday.
