I enjoy this restaurant. It can get noisy when really busy but the staff are attentive and the portions of food are more than adequate. I do takeout alot and they don't skimp. Its worth the visit.

I have been going to Don Pablo's for years and always thoroughly enjoy my experience. The cantina feel of the bar is my favorite, as that is usually where I sit. Service is always quick and I love their Tijuana Teas.

Don Pablo's is large it is noisey it is crowded it has bad service it has really poor food. It's the Walmart of Tex/Mex/Salvadorean cooking. It's not even good value for the money spent. Don Pablo's hasn't quite figured out what cuisine it's offering. A while ago they were offering 'Mexican potatoes.' Now, I could understand that at a Peruvian or Bolivian restaurant, but please, a better topped potato can be had at a fast-food restaurant. Well, what can you expect of a restaurant located in Potomac Yards, a shopping complex that should have a gate with a legend above it of 'abandon all hope ye who enter here.'

I know it's not a local, mom and pop Mexican place, but Don Pablos rocks! Portions are huge! Service is normally pretty good. The atmosphere is typical, but the value is the best part. On wednesdays, they have a fajita special for $8.99, which you can definitely split between two people. I highly recommend it.
