Delicious
The red curry is delicious. my girlfriend always gets basil ginger tofu which is fabulous. I love eddie's. They also deliver faster than i thought possible

Where are the standards?
I did lots of research on menu pages before going to eddies and based on the reviews, we went. Very disappointing!! The food was so salty and soggy that I had to throw it away. I am a former chef and restaurant manager so I admit I am picky but if u really want Amazing chinese take away then go to golden house on Wisconsin ave. The sesame chicken is some of the best food you will ever eat!! Don't be fooled by these reviews the food is simply not good.

Do not let this small restaurant fool you. It is by far the carry out Chinese along the eastern border of the US. Give it a try! You definitely will be hooked. Going there right now!!

Best Kung Pao in DC!
Eddy's Cafe is my wife's favorite Chinese carry out in DC. We've never actually been in the restaurant but It's a two year ritual to order the Kung Pao chicken at least once a week....and the portions are big enough to share! A real DC treat maybe we'll find the actual dining room someday.

Best Chinese carryout in the area
If you are looking for some of the tastiest Chinese food in the DC metro area, Eddie's Cafe is your best bet. Now, just as a disclaimer, we're not talking about a creative or unique Asian fusion place, or super authentic Chinese. No, what we're talking about with Eddie's Cafe is americanized Chinese carryout at its best. The General Tso's is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Szechuan is spicy and full of flavor. The egg drop soup is dynamite. A+ food here. Enjoy!

one of the best in the area!!
underestimated!! this is BY FAR one of the best chinese restaurants in the area. the food is DELICIOUS, they always get the order right, and are super fast for delivery. a hidden treasure.
