The food
I always enjoyed eating at Eddy's Chicken...the food and sandwiches are delicious...just wish they would give a larger portion of rice.

Don't Get the Mixed Grill
I normally just get the chicken and steak sandwich. Last week I got the mixed grill platter and was very disappointed. The chicken was good, but the steak, pork chop, potato salad and other items were not. The meat was way overcooked. The potato salad was a pinkish color and tasted flat. The platter with drink cost about $18. A complete ripoff. Stick with the sandwich if you must go there.

Not Thrilled
Several friends raved about Edy's after I raved about their competitor Crisp and Juicy; friends said it was hands down better. I respectfully disagree, I prefer C&J's chicken, salad, salad dressing and especially their sauce over Edy's. Edy's does beat C&J on the atmosphere, but I still say well worth the extra 5ish miles up Route 7.

Best Food in Baileys Crossroads
I worked in the Baileys Crossroads area for over 20 years, and I always ate at Chicken and Steak, when it was at the Culmore Shopping Center and when it moved to S. Jefferson St/ Rt 7.. THE BEST FOOD IN BAILEYS!!.. I now live over 2 thousand miles away and I still think about Chicken and Steak.. Wish they could mail the food to me!!

amazing food
The food is amazing. Who cares if they don't take credit cards. It is still worth the trip. I routinely drive 25 minutes to eat this food. Amazing. Well worth the trip, you won't be disappointed.

AWESOME!!
I used to frequent Edy's when I lived in Bailey's Crossroads from 2000-2001. Even 5 years later, I still make the drive for some Edy's once in awhile. Their chicken is hands-down the best rotissiere style chicken in the area!
