Best beef dish in Washington
The pan-roasted Hereford beef dish was exquisite. The wine list is extensive, and a steal if you buy by the bottle (wines by the glass are a little steep).

Great food, wine
I ate here last week and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a real passion for good, seasonal, organic food.

Melt in your mouth beef and crunchy chocolate to die for!
Eola's chef Daniel Singhofen’s scrumptious dishes will not disappoint those who visit the new Dupont Circle resto. I don't normally eat raw tomatoes but I decided to brave the heirloom appetizer—and wowie! – they were the sweetest tomatoes I've ever eaten, set off by tiny crunchy savory pastries. For the main course, my partner and I both dove into the Pan Roasted Hereford Beef, with potato confit, delicate royal trumpet mushrooms and tiny carrots in a wine sauce. Our server suggested a glass of crisp Chehalem Pinot Gris for starters and a smooth Dolcetto D'Ovada with the main course. Perfect combinations. The portions left us both quite satisfied, but still longing for the chocoholic's dream dessert, which was to die for. I ate the chocolate crunch cake in tiny bites to prolong the pleasure of that dark chocolate mousse, hazelnut crunch sliding over my tongue. It was a busy night. we were talking non-stop and our sweet young server forgot to ask us if we wanted coffee with our cake, which we didn’t, but we are definitely going back for seconds and taking our friends.
