Best Ethiopian in the City
The best food and the best ambiance of any of the DC Ethiopian spots. I always order the vegetarian platter and have always been impressed. Not only is the food top notch, but this place is nicer than other spots, so it is acceptable for a date or if you're taking someone out who hasn't tried Ethiopian before. I met an Ethiopian lady who agreed that this is one of her top picks. She took me here and had me try some of the raw meat dishes. They were actually pretty good, though I will stick to my veggies in the future. The service can be lacking, so don't be in a hurry.

Fun to visit, but to eat there?
Yea, so its a hot spot with lots of young people. BUT its small, cramped, with uncomfortable chairs that are too low for the tables. The food was average but priced above average because of the hype. And they need someone who can make a decent vodka tonic, I had to leave mine. Wouldn't visit again and wouldn't recommend it.
