Great food, big plates & melting candles
Eaten here many times when in the mood for homey Italian food and am never disappointed...though if you're looking for something inspired, this isn't the place. The meals are recognizable and good. The portions are really big though, and the prices reflect the size. Service is pretty good usually and the checkerboard tablecloths and melting candles in bottles are a nice "Lady and the Tramp" touch. It certainly s an atmosphere that takes you out of the bustle of downtown DC (at least temporarily). Recommended.

One of my favorite places for Italian
I've had dinner here on several different occasions. The pizza, pasta and chicken were all wonderful. Relaxed atmosphere. Service was good. It's been around for years and is worth checking out.

Poor delivery
I have consistently waited up to three hours for my food to come. They don't apologize and are rude about it. While the food is OK the service leaves MUCH to be desired.
