    Excellent for Groups!

I went here with my son's 8th grade class on their DC trip. We loved it! They had a great pizza, pasta and salad buffet, there was a very convenient area just from us and the location was incredibily convenient for our night tour of the monuments and memorials. the staff was great. An excellent way to kick of our night tour and much better than a franchise or chain in quality and character.

    I miss GW..

I used to come here all the time with my friends. It's a dive bar, but the food is good and I'd rather patronize this place than the absolutely AWFUL TGIFridays around the corner. Best bets here include: -Reuben -Chicken fingers -Nachos -Pizza (buffet at certain times) The waitstaff bust their butts (most of the time) and are pretty friendly. My dad loved coming here when visiting. Laid back, cheap beer, comfort food.

    Pub

Don't expect a fancy dining environment, but definitely come for a cheap beer and some pretty good food too. I like the Pub Club. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

It's a decent place for what it is

I work in the area and Froggy Bottoms tends to be a half way point when meeting friends for lunch. It's a decent place for what it is. It is kinda bar-ish in atomsphere. Food is decent and moderately priced. It's good for lunch with a couple friends but I wouldn't go out of the way to eat here on my own. They have what appears to be a pretty good happy hour. Service is pretty weak. Servers tend to be on the slower side and always look like they are panicked....not sure why. Anyway go there if you are looking for something inexpensive, decent and your close. They also have a lunch pizza, pasta and salad buffet...it's like 6 bucks and comes with unlimited soda. The pizza is OK, the pasta is decent, the salad....it's salad I guess. Otherwise the menu consists of salads, sandiwches and stuff like that, nothing mind blowing by any stretch. Hopefully this will help those of you who aren't too sure.
