    Good for an office lunch

This is where our office goes for special lunches. Great beer (try the beer sampler if you've never been here before), and good pizzas and sandwiches. It occupies an old Riggs Bank building so has lots of marble columns-- not great acoustics for a restaurant, but it's still an interesting space. The servers are gracious and energetic. It gets really crowded at lunchtime, so best to make reservations.

    Go someplace else

My boyfriend and I ate here the other night and I won't say the food was disgusting but for the money they charge, it was NOT worth it. My bf got the chicken and parm and for $16, it was barely a chicken cutlet cut up into 3 pieces with a huge plate of pasta. I got the Grilled Chicken and Avocado sandwich. The sandwich was a mess, i needed a magnifying glass to find the avocado, the garlic fries were nauseating, and it was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk. The only good thing was the beer.

    Coolest beer in town

The coolest beer in DC, so cold the taps are frozen. Never had a bad meal - LOVE IT.

    One of the Best!

The food is great! I love the BBQ Salmon with ginger rice. The spinach salad with Salmon is one of the best that I've had. The veggie Pizza is excellent as well!

    Picked it by looks

For some tired tourists, this was a good choice. We saw this place as we were leaving the spy museum early in the day and kept it in the back of our minds as a dinner choice. When nothing else looked good that day, we went back. Now it's nothing exotic or fancy. It's a brew pub. But the service we fine and the food was good. Our kids got pasta and a chicken sandwich (from the adult menu - not sure what the kid menu is like) and both ate everything on their plates. My husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwich and I thoroughly enjoyed mine. The beer was nice and so were the lemonades. My only complaint (and it's small) is that it was a bit loud. The place looks like it might have been an old hotel lobby so the sounds bounce around a lot. That however wasn't enough to ruin our experience here.
