Grill Kabob Express

My staff and I are huge on lunch. I like to try all different types of cultures and tastes. Grill kobab express was recommended to me several times before I actually got to try it. Upon arrival to the establishment you will first notice that it is very comfortably arranged followed by friendly greeting personnel, full of energy and great spirit and had much to share about the authenticity of each dish and various spices and flavors that were soon to leave my mouthwatering. I ordered the chicken and lamb kobab with two of my other colleagues getting the same thing and a client whom we've brought to lunch getting the halal Gyro. The service was great and quick which also lives up to its name of express. All of us were completely taken away by how fresh tasting and delicious this place turned out to be. From the chicken to the lamb to the rice everything was absolutely delicious. The sauces both green and white were an amazing compliment to the dish. I have never in my life even at very expensive establishments had such awesome flavorful kabob. The combination of spice and flavor were so great that we ended up getting several to go orders and in fact came back the very next day which was today for another round! I had a great talk with one of the guys back there today and I heard it was family owned and operated and I'm huge on small businesses that are family owned and that really are dedicated to their craft and in producing great food through honest hard work. It seems that I will be coming here a lot more often and it would only be right for me to leave this review considering how satisfied I am with this place and how much this place has to offer. Truly awesome place that passed all the tests and more and set a new standard that I'm not sure many restaurants can live up to due to its awesome affordability for such an extravagant and fulfilling dish. I thank them again on behalf of myself and my staff and will be seeing you guys a lot!

I've tried various Kabob restaurants in the DC area and have to say that no one can compare to this place for its excellent (tender, succulent and meaty) Lamb Chops. I love their rice (brown and white available) and their tandoori bread is simply the best bread I have ever eaten anywhere in the area! My other favorites are the Chapli Kabob (spicy beef burger) and the Kubideh. For wonderful kabobs (in the afghan/persian style) there is none better!
