I'm a very picky eater but after I had there white wine sauce mussles I knew I found my new haven. They are delcious! Don't take my word for it, order them! Yum! Oysters are great too.

A very solid restaurant. I've been several times and the food is always spot on, in particular the mustard seed-crusted seared tuna is very good (but switch out the wasabi mashed potatoes for the regular ones). Also, take note of the name of the restaurant - don't stray too far from grilled fish. A little overpriced, but like I said, it's always good and a nice setting.

I tried grillfish today. Lets just say that I left $65 lighter and still hungry. The proportions were fine, I was still hungry because I didn't want to finish my food. We had the calamari for an appetizer. It was cooked right, but it was covered in a completely flavorless batter that even the sauce and salt couldn't turn into anything better than "okay". After my crab and shrimp macaroni and cheese was delivered to my table I was elated because I was starving and it looked great. After taking my first bite it was all ruined for me. There were a couple pieces of crab shell in my food that made my "soft" dish rather crunchy. I spit it out, and took another bite from another section of the plate and got another couple pieces of shell in my mouth. About 90% or more of the dozen bites I took had pieces of crab shell mixed in. My girlfriend was with me and she only had a couple bites before she informed me that even without the crab shell... the food wasn't exactly impressive. I asked for my check with our almost full plates and told the waiter that there was too much shell in my food. His reply: I've tried it before too... it does have a lot of shell in it. There was no offer for dessert, compensation, or even an "I'm sorry we have lackluster food". I paid my sixty five dollars and started looking up other places to eat on my GPS.

I dined at Grillfish with a few coworkers for lunch and was a little disappointed with the service and attention to detail. Overall the experience was ok but to get straight to the point, one co-worker was given the wrong side and had to wait an unusally long time for the matter to be corrected. When she addressed it with our waiter he became so snappy to the point were it was slightly embarrassing. The blackened salmon order by two of my coworkers were blackened on the outside and like jelly on the inside. The macaroni and cheese with shrimp and crab was just plain weird. The shape of the macaroni was puzzling, very little shrimp and crab and not very tasty. I personally ordered the tiramisu for dessert and who ever prepared it forgot to add the cookies. When I brought it to their attention the response was to remove it from the check, I was not offered an alternative nor the correct item. In short, I would never go back to Grillfish nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are far better placed to go in the metro area for good seafood with restaurant employees/managers who pay attention to detail.

I've worked in the area for 12 years and was very happy to discover this restaurant! CF Folks serves great crabcakes, but I found Grillfish's to be more interesting (if a bit smaller). Lunch prices are not bad, and the atmosphere is very pleasant--the tables are not crowded too close together and are angled for privacy. Also, the very high ceilings allows sound to travel upward, so you can carry on a conversation comfortably. Lots on the menu I'm eyeing to come back and try!

I've eaten at Grillfish a million times. I recommend the Happy Hour drink special (coconut Kamikaze is my favorite). The portabella fries are delicious as well. In terms of real food, the salmon club, the crab & shrimp quesadilla, the fish and chips, and the buffalo shrimp are all good. The scallops are always fresh with a great flavor. The place definitely is bustling and sitting fills quickly in the evening..make a reservation if possible. This is a nice place to grab a meal, but it is not a place for a romantic dinner or a "heavy" conversation.

Ate here during the height of Spring Break when the city had large #s of tourists -- and the food was fabulous. Yeah, a bit pricey, but great specials too: my husband and daughter both had whole lobsters that were only $19.95 each! Excellent salads too and a nice wine list. Best of all, it is casual and the wait staff friendly and attentive
