I love Guapo's Restaurant! The new Guapomole it's delicious, and the service is great! I can't wait to go again. I highly recommend it!

My first experience with Guapo's was actually the day I moved to Bethesda, and I've been a dedicated customer ever since. From their huge salads (Rosita's is my favorite) to sizzling fajitas to satisfying chimichangas, everything I've tried on the menu has been not only delectable but within my scant budget. But, of course, they also offer higher-end chef's specials, including quail, at a slightly higher price point. At the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, the food is bountiful and fresh. The weekend brunch menu includes some refreshing alternatives to the standard bacon and eggs (try Burrito de Huevos or anything with chorizo in it), but you will also find old favorites like Eggs Benedict. The staff is friendly and expedient. And, of course, the (double) margaritas are delicious and thirst-quenching.

Guapo's is definitely the best Mexican food you can get in a restaurant in the DC metropolitan area. The food is outstanding. I am a very picky person when it comes to my food, but their quesadillas, empanadas, and flautas are to die for. My friends also always get the enchiladas and rave about them as well. I do not believe you can get one bad dish here!

I lived in Bethesda for 4 years and ate at Guapos several times a month. I have now been a loyal customer...and fan...for about 9 years. The place looks like a typical Mexican cafe, and not at all like the posh little restaurants all over Bethesda.....don't let this fool ya! The frozen margaritas and sangria are to die for. All of the food is superb, and the staff is friendly and efficient. I live in Europe now, and cannot wait to get back to the area to eat at Guapos! Last time I was home for a week, I ate there four times!! I heartily recommend you try the Mariscada Soup, and beef fajitas. But, you won't be unhappy no matter what you choose!! And, if you go, send me a doggy bag!! I'll trade you room and board in Amsterdam!
