Among the Best!
Haad Thai Restaurant is somewhat smallish, caually comfortable, and very clean. Lunch can sometimes be very busy, but the staff is smiling, professional, permanent, and very efficient at their work. Dinner is quieter and more relaxed so there is more time to explore the delightful menu. The prices are reasonable and the servers are very attentive. I recommend the salmon entrees and the Thai iced tea.

If this is "good" Thai food...
I don't believe people go here for a good Thai food experience- rather for convenience of the location (near a number of offices). The Thai food here is sub-par, at best. The atmosphere and service are both average. However, the food lack all the charm and the basic ingenuity of Thai food. I would recommend Thai chilli 10 mins walk away, which has a much better ambience, offers better value, and infintiely better food.

Hidden Oasis
My husband and I love good Thai food, and Haad Thai is the best in DC! The food is SO fresh and delicious. The spices are amazing! If you like calamari, it is excellent at Haad Thai. It's made with a light and crispy tempura batter. and served with an incredible sweet n spicy chili dipping sauce. We almost always order the Panang Gai and Pad Thai. Both are excellent and the dishes compliment each other. The service is always good. The ambiance is romantic yet casual. Oh, and the drinks are yummy too. Try the Long Island iced tea...it packs a punch!

Highly Recommended
My co-workers and I eat here quite often and I have not had any bad experiences. The food was great and the service is quick especially when you are on limited time.

Great
The food was great, my coworker and I go every week. I recomend the Tom Ka soup or Panang Gai. If you want more spice in your life add some of the hot sauces. It gets sort of crowded around lunch, but even then service is resonable. The resuraunt is a bit small but nicely decorated and clean.
