slow service?
I'll admit that I haven't dined here in a while. That's because this particular Hamburger Hamlet is/was legendary for extremely slow service, even when near empty. I wonder if this issue has been addressed. Having said that, the food was always good, and it's one of the nicest dining spaces in the Underground.

Great Family Restaurant
I've been to Hamburger Hamlet with my family on several occasions and we always enjoy the food and atmosphere. Good selection, great children's menu, and attentive service make the experience enjoyable and hassle-free. There's also a nice sunroom/bar area. Can be quite crowded on weekend evenings, but our family has usually been seated fairly quickly even on busy nights. A good choice for tasty, simple food in Bethesda at a reasonable price.

Not recommended
This place is simply not good, the only redeeming quality is that they have cold beer. Better off eating at elsewhere and spending $4 on a sandwich instead of $20 on a subpar meal.
