Delicious!!
The chefs cook in front of you and are very involved in the customers. The food is great and kids love it! Great for parties and dinner.

Great!
We go to Hana Tokyo several times a month and love it! My mother-in-law has serious food allergies and they even made her food on a back cooker with her special instructions so that she wouldn't have an allergic reaction. The staff has always been very friendly and we have always gotten our food quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Best Sushi in DC
I visit Hana Tokyo multiple times per month and am never disappointed. Their teppanyaki chefs are entertaining, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Great, small restaurant atmosphere. Call ahead on Fridays and Saturdays as this small venue fills up fast!

The Best!
This is one of the best restaurants in the city. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. The staff is very friendly! I highly recommend the sushi!

Bad Food,Bad service
me and my sister went there, and we sit in the sushi bar,we order a lot of sushi,so excited, then it took more than 30 minutes to get our food,and was only 1 chef in the bar, so slow, and we order salads,and soup, the waitress never bring to us.

Great place for sushi and teppanyaki!!
Hana Tokyo is definitely the best teppanyaki restaurant in the Alexandria area... and we have tried many! The chefs are entertaining and talented-- they do all the standard Japanese steakhouse tricks and grill a greak steak. The food is better than any other Japanese steakhouse we have been to. The decor is nice, very clean, and there is a great little private room for parties and special occasions. The sushi here is also fantastic! The fish is fresh and the prices are reasonable. They make a delicious rainbow roll!
