Kill the staff, not the chili
Back in the 1980s, this place was fine. Fast service, good food, nice accomodations. Not now. The food is still the same, although I'd go for the chili dogs and not just one- to four-way chili. Imagine this: four people are seated, the waiter shows up and takes orders from three, then walks away, unable to count from three to four. He nearly got floored by us, but the manager didn't care. The entire chain seemingly doesn't care, because I've gone through the same thing in Arlington. If you want a comfortable, noisey scene without any additives like drink, food, or seating, Hard Times is all yours. You won't find me there.

You will not leave hungry!
The food was great and reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. They have 4 types of chilli which you can sample before having it on your nachos, burger, hotdog, or even salad. The portions are huge. The french fries are some of the best I have ever had. Really good vegetarian chilli, which is very difficult to find. The even have good beer on tap!
