Blase Food Less for Service
This is supposedly one of DC's best pubs but leaves much to be desired. The place is kept fairly dim to cover the disgustingly filthy collection of bottles sitting above tables when you first move in. The service is ok, but there seems to be a problem with the food. It's consistently o.k., but it's not that great. I was there on a night when the management refused service to military and it was embarrassing enough to have my party pay and leave. I wouldn't recommend this place for anything more than a last resort for food and mediocre ambiance on a bland weeknight.

Quick Service, Good Prices, Decent Food
stopped in around 7pm Saturday. Bar was pretty full but plenty of table seats. Service was great - fast, friendly and prices were reasonable. Food came out really quickly and beers refilled fast. The food was just your regular pub food, nothing special but decent enough when you're hungry. I would definitely go back and recommend. Within walking distance to Capitol, Mall and Union Station.
